Helping those less fortunate than ourselves

The Emmaus Hampshire Community actively helps less fortunate individuals in the local area, in line with the 'solidarity' ethos of Emmaus.

At the discretion of the Community Leader and the Shop Manager, the Community will give free furniture to various people who have been referred via social services and other support and social care agencies.

Companions have completed a house clearance for a girl going in to treatment for addiction and the Community donated a whole house of furniture to an older woman who was homeless in London and resettled into supported accommodation within Winchester.
